Dear Members,

The Education and Safety committee will begin a pilot program of teaching and learning in April 2006. The program will be after hours and have the title of “WOODWORKING EDUCATION”.

We have 8 (10) possible offerings:

1. Project design and planning

2. Squaring marking, cutting and laying out parts

3. Shaping and Forming

4. Joining and assembly

5. Finishing

6. Wood Lathe

7. Wood Carving.

8. Tool Sharpening

9. (To be planned)

10. (To be planned)

The Classes will either be from 4-6 PM or 7-9 PM or a combination of both.

We need instructors for the offerings. If you are interested in teaching please e-mail the shop Villageswoodshop@earthlink.net or sign up at the meeting on March 14 or at the shop or submit the form below.

If you have any special requests please let us know so we can design classes for your needs.
