Woodworkers Club of the Villages
Schedule for Training Days
1. Prior to the use of the
Woodshop, all members will receive an
Orientation and Training
Program. The training program, which
will provide
certification, will be a prerequisite to basic machine
use by any
members of the club.
2. Orientation will be provided
by the Board of Directors and the Monitors.
3.
Training on the basic machines will be provided by the
Instructional team.
4. All safety aspects of the
Orientation and Training will be
approved by the
Safety Team.
5. Full days will be set aside
for training.
6. Groups of eight will be
assigned together.
7. The following training
priorities have been established and approved by the Board:

III.
Safety and Training Committee
IV.
Monitors scheduled during the first month of operation
V.
Board Members
VI.
Members by join date
Members requesting deferral because of
travel/vacation or lack of availability due to other reasons have been
scheduled after September 15, 2004
