The shop started the education program in October, 2006. So far it has been a big success. We scheduled classes on a quarterly basis. The frequency will be up to the instructors.

We are in need of teachers for the upcoming programs. Any skill which can be taught is needed.

Please send a note to the Education area woodshop.education@embarqmail.com if you are interested.

Course Sign-up Information

You must come to the Woodshop to register for courses. There is a $10 registration fee that must be paid at the front desk and attached to your registration form. The registration fee is not about the $10, but about the commitment from the registrant that they will be there as all instructors are volunteers. The $10 also goes towards the cost of material for your project.

Some courses are very popular, and you may go on a waiting list. If you go on a waiting list, you must register and pay later.
